Doing research?

Remember the most AMAZING website I told you about in class? Of course you do!
I learned about this last week when the teachers went to 'school' and I know you're going to love it!

Instead of 'Googling' information you are researching...

  •  You can use this database to locate information for SO many different topics, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, human geography and MUCH more!
  • You can access interactive fiction and non-fiction books with themes like: Animals and Nature, Earth and Sky, People and Places (and they are all leveled, just like our school library).

  • You can even access maps that help in the study of Canada and its people through historical, economic, environmental and cultural information.

What is this amazing database for information???

It's called the Online Reference Centre.

If you click on the words below it will take you right to the website.

 Online Reference Centre

We get to use it for FREE as long as you have this handy username and password.

Today was Pink Day to stand up against bullying!

Each student wrote ways to keep our school a safe place on pink paper strips and linked them together for a school wide paperchain to show how strong we can all be if we work together! In the afternoon, the whole school lined the hallways and linked arms for a mannequin challenge video to show us all linked together. What an amazing message!

Hi Gang!

This is a place where we are going to post about our classroom activities, writing assignments, interesting thoughts and questions.
We are going to be learning about digital citizenship. Digital literacies include things like posting, commenting on posts, and replying to comments appropriately.
Check back here to see some of our talented student work!
